I am looking for a new home, and I feel New Zealand is a good fit for me!
I’m an IT generalist, with background in everything from desktop support to software development. If you need someone to do a little bit of a lot of technical jobs, then I’m a good choice. My customer service skills are top notch, but my primary areas of interest and expertise are in Infrastructure (Linux server, networking, virtualisation) as well as Security; though I also have a fair amount of knowledge of Telecommunications. I also have excellent Technical Documentation skills.
My non-IT trade skills include photography and darkroom skills, electronics and 3D mechanical design, and languages. I can speak French conversationally, and I have smatterings of Spanish, Italian, German and Japanese picked up from conversations and media; I find it very easy to absorb new spoken languages. I am currently studying Te Reo Māori.
My personal interests include my trade skills, as well as music (I play electric guitar and bass; neither well), rock climbing and mountain walking, modelling and occasional light gaming.
My worst skills are cooking and dancing.
